Sonoka is originally from Japan and arrived in Hobart as an exchange student.She obtained her Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diploma of Music at the University of Tasmania under the tutelage of Beryl Sedivka.As a soloist and chamber musician, she has since appeared in many concerts throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and Japan. Her performances have been recorded and broadcasted by ABC Classic FM and 3MBS.Sonoka has a wide range of musical interests that have influenced her work in a variety of roles, places and collaborations with many wonderful musicians during her career.

Olivier was born in France to a family of artists and musicians. He studied in Oxford with Kato Havas where he met his wife, Rosalind. Moving to Oxford where they lived for 30 years, they performed in a string quartet together and Olivier led a chamber orchestra Musicians of the Dreaming Spires where he performed many solo violin concertos. Now living in Torquay, Olivier founded the Musicians of the Great Ocean Road Chamber Orchestra which performs concerts around the coast and in Geelong. Olivier is Head of strings at PLC in Melbourne and he regularly freelances with the Melbourne Symphony, The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic and Art of Sound Orchestra.
