Guitar level 1
Apoyando
Play this piece to practise your sight reading. It is not difficult. Use the thumb for strings 4 5 6, and fingers for strings 123. Try yo alternate i and m fingers throughout the piece.
(The word "apoyando" is Spanish for "restroke". This is a right hand technique where the finger of the right hand, after plucking a note, ends up resting against the string immediately above the string that was just plucked. This generally gives a stronger, and rounder sound. It is difficult to practise however, and while this piece is designed to practise apoyando, play it fist in the normal way "tirando", which means free-stroke.)
