Sight reading

Sight reading is the ability to read the notes of musicon a piece of paper, also called "Notation". At this stage we are just learning the notes

In this exercise we look at the notes on the first string - that's the thinnest string, which is the furthest from your eyes.

Take your time with this - it can be difficult to learn quickly. But with constant practise (a few minutes each day) it becomes automatic.
