Preludes 7 and 8 (Peter Huf)

This pair of prelude can be played together. 

The main purpose of these preludes is to demonstrate an approach to solo guitar playing. Both preludes demonstrate how a melody may be embedded in a chord sequence. The understanding of this is as important as its execution. This principle can be applied to many other pieces. That is, the chord pattern is kept intact and the melody is superimposed above the chords. The bass notes follow the chords. This approach gives a sense of complete music to the listener.

Prelude 7 is in A major, and Prelude 8 is in A minor.
