Poly is a great improviser with a sensitive and musically
empathetic ear, and a hunger to find new harmonies and rhythms to embellish with
his strikingly beautiful tonal melodies and phrases from his Veena.
It is a
supreme pleasure to play a harmonic undelay to his searching and playful
ostenatos which have a mix of everything: classical, blues, funk – what a
combination – this can capture imaginations everywhere.
