Safety in the music studio

All teachers

1. Ensure that your teaching studio is safe, and free from hazards.
2. Ensure that there are no obstacles, or falling objects.
3. Ensure all electrical equipment is safe and checked.
4. Do not allow any electrical leads, cords, wires or objects to be lying on a pathway in a studio area.
5. replace all instrumenst, leads etc.. immediately after use.
6. Do not put music on floor. It is messy, unorganised, and may cause someone to slip.
7. Do not let children play unsupervised.
8. Make sure all electrical equipment is out of reach of small children.
9. Ensure all hot water elements and containers are safely out of reach for small children.
10. Ensure that a senior instructor has checked any new teachjing premises before commencement of lessons.
